Sabrina Season 3 Thoughts

Last season definitely ended with a cliffhanger and this season was plot wise epic but did not make sense or flow as well as it should.

There was too much going on, it seems as though everything at the pitch meeting was thrown into the season. We had Nick’s return to earth and the separation of his body, the pagans, the Dark Lord, Blackwood’s revenge, the coven’s power loss, Ms. Wardwell’s revenge, Sabrina being the Queen of Hell, the Unholy Regalia, and new characters. Everything was crazy. It was entertaining but logistically was not developed properly. Each scene did not correctly flow into he rest it was rather just action packed mush. We never got to understand the extend and the power of certain scenes and the gravity at everything occured in a weeks time. For example, Sabrina was the QUEEEN OF HELL. She should have been exercising and understanding her powers and influence in the court as well as the ups and downs. Instead she is thrust into a competition with no context in the middle of her other endeavors without much time for the scenes to really brew. Caliban was such an interesting character that I was hoping to see more of, specifically a marriage alliance but he was randomly thrown in a couple of scenes.

The writers need to get the whole worship thing down because the concept is confusing at best. If they originally worshipped Lucfier and he was gone, does that not mean Sabrina would be the next person they worship considerig she is the Queen and his daughter. They worshipped Lilith for a day and then abandoned her but she was Queen then. Do all Satanic witched believe in the Hell monarchy. If so, what happened to the other churches? Why is this a greendale issue? Then the pagans, if they themself worship old gods how is Caracas the great god Pan. And if the greendale people drove them out can they not rebuild and do this again? And the new goddess, Hecate, where was she before this.

Overall this show makes little sense and needs to be clarified and lines of reason must be drawn but that does not stop how entertaining the show is.
